Hire us: even if you download the materials, you can still hire us to handle the registration for you. As part of our Online Services, we register charitable organizations under the Society Registration Act, India — the registered NGO becomes a "Society" for all legal purposes.
We register two types: State Level and All India Level. The difference is working area — a state-level society is restricted to one state, where it can also acquire land and operate bank accounts; an all-India society can operate across states.
State Level Society: Requirements
- A suitable name for the organization
- A charitable purpose
- Seven initial members to form the organization
- Two officers (President & Treasurer, or Secretary & Treasurer)
All India Level Society: Additional Requirements
- At least nine initial members
- Two officers from one state
- Seven other members, each from a different state
Documents We Need
- ID proof of all members and the governing body
- Water bill or house tax receipt as address proof of the registered office
- Two sets of "Aims & Objects of Organization" (we'll draft this)
- Two sets of "Memorandum of Association" / bylaws (we'll draft this)
- Affidavit for name from the organization's president (we'll draft this)
- NOC for the office from the landlord (we'll draft this)

Order, and we take care of all the formalities — drafting and reviewing the Aims & Objects, Memorandum of Association, affidavits, and NOCs as needed, handling attestation and other legal formalities. All you need to do is sign and pay; we deliver the Society Registration certificate without you needing to visit the society office, unless you want to.
