Nowadays, the USCIS requires a Marriage Certificate to establish the relationship between children and their parents. If the marriage was not registered or the registration certificate cannot be obtained, a Non-Availability of Marriage Certificate (NAMC) is requested.
In India, there is no standardized procedure for obtaining a Non-Availability of Marriage Certificate (NAMC). This certificate is not commonly required within India, making its issuance by the concerned Registrar's office both uncommon and expensive.
The process begins with a formal search at the municipal office in the applicant's place of Marriage. If the marriage is not registered or the registration record is unavailable for any reason, we proceed to request the Non-Availability of marriage Certificate from the concerned department.
The Non Availability of Marriage Certificate is a document stating that the marriage records for a specific individual are unavailable, and it may also include the reason for this unavailability.
Once issued, the Non Availability of Marriage Certificate, along with any other original documents (if applicable), will be shipped free of charge within India via a reputable courier service. We use only FedEx for international shipping and DTDC for domestic shipping.
