Apostille
As part of our 'Document Procurement Services' we assist with attestation by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and the Apostille services to our Resident Indian, Non-Resident Indians, and International clients.
Documents issued in one country that need to be used in another must be authenticated and legalized or Apostilled before they can be recognized as valid in the foreign country. An Apostille is a specific type of attestation provided by the Ministry of External Affairs, India, for documents intended for use in Hague Convention member countries.
If the country where you intend to use your documents is a member of the Hague Convention, you will need your documents attested by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs as part of the Apostille process. However, if the country is not a member of the Hague Convention, a general attestation by the Ministry of External Affairs, India, will be required instead, without an Apostille sticker.
An Apostille (attestation by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs) can be obtained for birth certificates, death certificates, powers of attorney, marriage certificates, educational certificates, and affidavits. Before obtaining attestation from the Ministry of External Affairs, all relevant documents must first be legalized and authenticated by regional offices located in each state.
Our aim is to simplify this process for you. We handle the authentication and legalization at the state level before proceeding with the Apostille process.
Duly Apostilled (Attested by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs) documents along with other originals (if any) will be shipped free of charge within India via a reputable courier service. We use only FedEx for international shipping and DTDC for domestic shipping.
